Even if you do that, eventually you're just gonna have a shit ton of Pokemon that are all evenly leveled so you can just use whatever the fuck you want against any of the gyms.
Literally all of this could've been prevented if they had just added a fucking button that turned off the exp share, like they've had for the past 2 generations.
But I guess GameFreak is too lazy to do even that.
