Conflicted.
Gen 5 is pretty damn based.
Gen 6 has a nice region but is too easy.
Gen 7 is comfy enough to overlook the linearity and constant interruptions.
Gen 8 feels the best to play with QOL features but ultimately has fuck-all to do besides grind raids.
So besides 5, I have problems with all the nu-gen games, but I still find them playable so I can't honestly condemn them too much besides their lack of content and s**l compared to earlier gens.
