I'd rather have the 100% accurate Blizzard, 50% Defense boost (despite the Pokemon not being in gen 9), and being able to set up Aurora Veil thanks to Snow Warning over an ability that reduces damage by 25% from only super effective attacks, and keep in mind Aurorus doesn't have reliable HP recovery. Sure, Aurorus may have a poor typing and everyone uses Alolan Ninetales for Snow but why the fuck would people ever want to take away Snow Warning (or any weather setting ability for matter)?
Taking away Snow Warning would make Aurorus worse than it is now. And why would everyone beg for Aurorus to have Aurora Veil back in gen 7 just to turn around and say "Aurorus should have an ability that reduces super effective damage because we overreact to certain typings".
If Aurorus is meant for support purposes given it has an ability that sets a certain weather condition (Snow Warning), why the fuck would the community want to give it Solid Rock because "weak to everything™"? Do people really have less brain cells than a sauropod when it comes to these things? Because honestly, this is more idiotic than it not having Power Gem despite having a higher Special Attack than Attack as a Rock type Pokemon because taking away Snow Warning would yield the opposite effect of what people want for Aurorus, BY MAKING THE FUCKING TUNDRA POKEMON EVEN MORE IRRELEVANT IN COMPETITIVE/PVP. If people complain about how unusable it is, why make Aurorus worse than it already is?
To put this short: don't take away Snow Warning from Aurorus just to replace it with Solid Rock. It doesn't have reliable HP recovery and doing so would be a spit in the face for Aurorus since it would lose Snow Warning (no 100% accurate Blizzard, no 50% defense boost, not being able to set up Aurora Veil, not being able to activate a teammate's Slush Rush). Doing so would make it worse.
