Stop pausing the battle with cutscenes whenever the player uses a super-effective move.
There's enough room on the screen to display the text for critical hits, super-effective hits, mutli-strike hits, and status effects, use it.
Stadium 2 displayed all the stat changes for Curse and Ancient Power at once, not slowing the battle down at all. Same with the quips from opponent trainers.
