I don't know what retard at GF decided we needed to start flip-flopping between how TMs worked every fucking game when perma-TMs worked just fine, and I want to personally castrate the asshole who thought returning to gens 1-4 while adding GRINDING into the mix was a good idea.
perma-TMs are not the problems, HOW THEY ARE DISTRIBUTED IS. don't put flamethrower on route fucking 1 and the concept is fine, don't put string shot on victory road, etc etc etc
it doesn't take a genius to apply basic level design to this shit, but GF decided even basic layout of loot and balancing of said loot was TOO MUCH WORK and instead went back to the lazy stupid shit from the first four gens where you either had a TM or had to go through a shit ton of idiotic hoops to get ONE more copy of it
not to mention the retardation of multiple currencies for literally 0 reason. All that makes me think about is microtransactions and manipulative marketing tactics, which is a feeling that should belong far far away from a fucking children's game.
