First, I hate the idea of coming up with some ebin new battle gimmick for each new gen instead of expanding on already existing ones.
It makes the universe feel shallow and seem more like some trashy marketing garbage than an actual world.
And secondly, the idea of giant pokemon would be great, but as an exceptional and permanent variation that would rarely occur (like shinys).
But having some shitty inflation for three turns and without scaling even, making sense (Raichu same size as Gyarados) is pure cancer.
