It's really hard to fix Tropius due to the prohibitive typing, but I'll try. Want to make a bulky mon/defensive pivot since Shaymin-S nails its offensive niche, and it already gets a lot of good support moves. In an ideal world I'd make it Grass/Dragon but that's an unrealistic buff:
>Old Stats: 99/68/83/72/87/51 (460)
>New Stats: 120/70/120/90/95/40 (535)
>New Ability - Cultivate (replaces Chlorophyll): The Pokémon eats the nutrious fruit growing on its body to neutralise (i.e. half 2x, quarter 4x) the damage of super-effective hits against it twice per battle. (Only one berry is needed to weaken every hit of a multi-hit move).
>New Moves: Hurricane, Aromatherapy, Knock Off, U-Turn, Earth Power, Power Whip, Body Press, Grassy Glide
This might seem OP but Tropius has so many weaknesses to extremely common types that it's necessary for it to serve any defensive role. I tried to make sure of the moves it gets and its ability make sense according to its design and lore; the only thing I think is questionable is U-Turn, but that's so it can be an effective Defog pivot.
