twitter gives a lot of social feedback/exposure and is the closest thing to what tumblr actually acted like: easy uploads, easy comments, reblog bouncing and even dms
newgrounds really tried to appeal to tumblr immigrants through welcoming posts and various qol improvements (layout, upload restrictions like tags) but it obviously appeals more to people drawing regular human porn
tl;dr there's no real socially open alternative to twitter for shills/furries and there's no real alternative to furaffinity for furries either
