>>52054355Yes, indeed; 2d art and pictures can go a long way with both any shape (no matter how complex or simple) as well as a distinct lack of bodily detail if the colors and shapes are on point. 3d modeling, on the other hand, I would imagine has drastically shifted the Pokemon's designers from color, shape and dynamic static posing away to movement, shape and animation priority- perhaps that, along with a lack of maintain care, has led to this more obvious overabundance of this occurrence? There are still a great deal of excellent Pokémon designs since Generation 5, though, so I deign to say that it's not quite an epidemic at this point; more of an obvious problem that is slowly growing overtime.
