>>39771164>>dragon type was only strong due to the disproportionately large amount to legendary and pseudo legendariesYes it totally wasn't because of the fact that literally one type resisted it.
>>took what little ice types had as the "dragon slaying" type Ice never had that to begin with. Fairies took nothing.
>>dragon type moves barring the nuke thats is draco meteor are rarely ever used now>what is Dragon Claw Groudon VGC19>>the 7th type to resist bugI agree here, Fairy shouldn't resist bug.
Fairy isn't problematic. The only people who think fairies are problems are dragon & fighting fags who are still buttmad about a type coming in to balance things.
>>39771262>Also, for whatever reason, Fire resists fairy but doesn't deal super effective damage to it despite poison and steel doing the same???? It's clearly going for some sort of "Nature vs Industry" theme or some shit, so why the fuck isn't this a thing yet? Because Fire in Pokemon is all natural. I can't think of any fire types that are implied to be "Industry" Poison is already a blurred line since it includes venomous animals such as Seviper but hazardous chemicals in the case of Muk.
>Added bit, Apparently Hydreigon was stated to be a Dragon/Steel, probably in reference to Mecha Ghidorah, but because they had plans to release fairy typing in gen 6, they fucking changed it last second, so if this is true, it even butchered what could've been and now we're plagued with James Turner's fucking Inhaler to represent that dual typing*citation needed*
>>39771504This.
I'm not saying Fairy is perfectly balanced. It has some issues (Resisting Bug being the only major one) but faggots who still complain about it need to stop. It's not an all powerful type. It literally has ONE physical move and it's risky to use. Dragon & Fighting types needed to knocked down a peg, Fairy did it's job.
