>>45345588This is a legitimate problem and I don't have an answer. Maybe someone else does. On cartridge the sleep user can spam the sleep move until it wakes up, but that would allow residual damage / healing to happen if active and a free move for the switch in when it wakes up. I can only assume people casually playing on cartridge with both a ruleset meant for a simulator and a timer are fine with not being allowed to predict a faster wake up and then resleeping as a trade off for not being able to spam sleep.
