Pauls' probably dying to know what techniques Ash used to train his pokemon. His sharp eyes and intelligent mind undoubtedly noticed that Ash's battles were completely devoid of strategy, so he must be convinced that Ash found some incredibly effective training routine. Maybe some trick with Aura perhaps?
