I have now finished special episodes 2 and 5. 2 somehow got me more emotional than the ending of the main story, and I found 5 to be a satisfying bow on top of the overarching plotlines. I wasn't expecting special episode 5 to be nearly 2 hours long. Now I think I'm ready to call it done with EoS, and move back to that Gates playthough I started last year.

I'm not too big into the anime so I might skip the 2nd story, and I haven't played EoS so I'd skip the last one for now, but that first one seems really interesting and might be useful since a few of the stories I'm planning touch on the same kinds of subjects

Excellent timing for me to return to the general, I guess. I had been planning on rereading BSTF and HAGS, so maybe by the time I finish that the new chapter will be out. I'll try to weave it in with my playthrough of SS.
