>>53596235It's just not just Extreme Speed. Dragonite has benefited more from the power creep than been hurt by it since it has picked up a lot of good moves over the gens. Dragon Dance, Outrage and Dragon Claw benefiting from Physical/Special split, and Roost kicked it up a bunch, it got Multi Scale in Gen 5 to give it more chances to set up or activate weakness policy. Because of multi-scale it takes really good advantage of anti-pebble boots. So yeah, it's never received the big love like T-Tar and Salamance got with Megas and now paradox version, Dragonite has slowly collected it's bad of goodies of the generations, taking it from a good but not outstanding mon to the best pseudo.
