It was the first time I feel so invigorated with a Pokemon game. Gen 3 and 4 felt like they were just there, but 5 was really different, mainly because the sprites are actually moving.
5 reignited my passion for Pokemon.
ORAS ended it.
5 re-reignited it after I found out about Drayano’s hacks.
Even though Unova isn’t the best region (that title goes to Sinnoh), or have the best soundtracks (that title goes to Hoenn), I rank gen 5 overall as my personal best.
