5 losses later I'm thinking competitive may not be for me.
One thing that I noticed particularly that I ran into a bunch of teams that had 4 or more of the Pokemon the Weakness Cup strategy blogpost prominently mentioned (Tyrannitar, Togekiss, Tapu Bulu etc). I mostly went with Pokemon that I particularly liked (Leafeon, Drifblim, Slowbro, Mamoswine, Lycanroc, Hydreigon).
It may be because I have never done this before, and my EV training went into the two highest stats, but I think I might suck.
