Pokemon Crystal was my first game, played at an extremely young age and pops would sit down and read it to me, and that helped me learn to read from a young age. He sat through so much of my incompetency but looking back I could tell he really loved me, and he tried to spend time with me despite his job requiring long hours and week long trips to fix machines across the country. The OG soundtrack to crystal gives me the feel good like nothing else, memories of spending quality time with dad :)
