-High HP with passable sp.def is worth more than low HP with high sp.def
-Movepool that consists of attacks that offer utility, recovery, priority or pivoting. (rapid spin, drain punch/leech life, dragon tail, bullet punch/aqua jet, u-turn/volt-switch)
-Abilities that offer sustainability or immunities, (regenerator, sap sipper, lightning rod, guts)
When using assault vest your aim is to tank attacks you would usually not be able to take, and hit back. You can act as a bulky pivot if you have recovery.
