Now, let's put that into perspective, Hacker's Memory had 341 Digimon and there are currently 898 pokemons, so it literally managed to include more than 1/3 the total number of pokemons even though it only sold 1/14 of what SWSH did. Not only that, but the game's overall quality was better including features like following mons WITHOUT the need of a DLC.
The retards who defend gamefreak truly never played anything besides pokemon and don't have any frame of reference. It's not just Digimon. Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 for the 3ds had 500 mons(even though 1/3 of them were recolors that's still 330 original mons), not only that ALMOST ALL MONSTERS IN THE GAME ARE RIDEABLE, a feature pokemon fans have asked for a long time. For comparison Gamefreak only managed to includ 18 ridable pokemon in the Let's Go games. Gamefreak IS lazy, Gamefreak IS greedy and that's undeniable.
