But SM seriously panders to the LCD of weebs, just shoving girls doing stupid things in front of your face with cheap character development that's been done better in the worst of disney flicks.
There are people who wouldn't like this show if they couldn't get off to the characters. The pokemon anime should be ashamed of pandering to the demographic.
