It really bugs me that these games DO introduce some important quality of life improvements that would make building competitive teams significantly easier and more efficient, but it's in games that cut the majority of the Pokedex, so only a handful of Pokemon I've collected are going to actually enjoy these benefits.
It's just really weird for me to think that Pokemon's big new generational debut on a new console will feature it having less Pokemon available than Pokemon GO, of all things.
