>>54209330Same here, when I first installed I figured it would be like $2.99/mo at most considering the nature of the "game". I swear I took a triple-check when I saw the real price; they really expect anyone to pay $10 a month for the premium experience in a sleep tracker? I understand it's Pokemon but that's like more than the $5 *ANNUAL* fee Pokemon Bank used to have, which had actual function for people who actually give a shit about the mainline franchise. I'm not even a Fortnitefag but that game's "premium" aka Battle Pass is $9, and that gets you the whole season i.e. ~3 months.
In the year of our lord 2011 + 12 when people are becoming more weary of the subscription service wallet-death by a thousand cuts between Prime, (every streaming service), battle passes, software subs, etc., I genuinely have no idea what the FUCK these guys were huffing thinking their sleep tracker that I can meaningfully interact with like 3 times a day at most could compete for 10 dollars of my money a month. And I don't think I'm projecting; there can't be enough characters willing to pay this much to justify the price. Pokemon Sleep is already niche as an app, hell it's competing with Pokemon Go in the casual phone app MTX-scape. I understand people are bad with money and corps can prey off that but this particular case makes me feel like I've Pokemon slept and woken up in looneyville
