By the way, have you ever noticed how few official characters in the pokemon games wear glasses? Just looking at all the gym leaders for example, out of 70+ characters the only ones who wear glasses are Blaine, Roark, and Clemont. In the real world, google says about 4 billion people wear some kind of corrective eyewear and that's not even taking into account a couple billion people living in developing nations who don't have access to them. Do people just have better eyesight in the pokeworld? Or are there fewer optometrists? Or are eyeglasses considered an unfashionable faux pas among serious trainers?
