Is it just me or is the modern pokemon location philosophy kind of ass. It was very egregious in the galar wild area where you'll have a generic patch of grass full of pokemon that don't even fit the environment just because they need to fill out the pokedex numbers somehow, Paldea didn't do much better with 5 dozen pokemon just shitted into an area with half of them not really having a reason to be there. Which leads to the second part of the equation, having a map that has realistic biomes that blend together while having a wide array of different pokemon that make sense for being present in that environment.
