I like this one because it makes Galar feel a little less bland, adding spinoff regions is always a no no though.

so is the pokeworld supposed to be a real life analogue or not? because if it is, these maps are pointless and it should just be a world map. if not, it makes more sense for the tundra to be in the north at the expense of some real life inconsistencies.

both the top and bottom of galar are covered in snow in the game, that map just incorrectly put the crown tundra above that one city that's supposed to be london for some reason even though it's below the starting town in the game.
also yes, they should be based on the real world, making up a map by smashing together pieces of the world with absolutely no rhyme or reason is what's pointless. by putting them on a map of the real world you can actually get information like the relative sizes of the regions and their distances from one another. you know, like a map.

In my head canon, it makes the most sense to have Sinnoh to be north of Johto and Kanto on the same continent and Hoenn on an island to the south of Johto.

I dont consider anything past gen 4 as canon so fuck the other regions

Its inspired on it, but we know for a fact it isn't supposed to be the exact same in-universe as there are discrepancies.

I can't find the source on Hoenn, but that's how it canonically is.
Sinnoh is implied to be north of the Kanto-Johto area in HGSS, and Hoenn was said to be south of in, IIRC, the RSE OST.
So they're just the real world inspiration placements, though Hoenn isn't oriented the same way and is farther than Kyushu is to the main Japan island.

The only thing I dont like about this is that it's a bit cluttered. I think making three separate images of the maps of Japan, Europe and N/S America and then combining those would be better. That is my only criticism though and other than that its perfect.
