I really liked the Original one and Johto even with their flaws. Hoenn was enjoyable too. Diamond and Pearl I dropped it too soon to talk about the series as a whole, and BW I literally skipped. But XY, to me, surpasses everything I've seen because of what I've explained. Sun and Moon I did not like mostly because of the animation and because:

It's like people telling you that you have to drink a shit cocktail several times in order to like it, that's not liking, that's Stockholm Syndrome. I respect that people might like it, though. I just don't. I'd rather skip it and go to Journeys.
