I had dabbled in them before in gen 4 and 5 obviously, but I never stuck to them for long when it came to battling or trading. Being able to battle or trade with anyone at anytime with so much efficiency was an amazing feature for the series. Why they completely threw PSS out for the absolute clusterfuck slow ass system SM had I'll never know, but it was enough to make me immediately put the game down after beating the story.
