I went from Red/Blue/Yellow generation to X, and I replayed those games once every year/other year or so for nostalgia/not much else to do. Got talked into buying X at a pawn shop by the clerk. I loved it. Every day id check the shops to see what was new, every day id rush/skip trainer battles just to get to the next city. Id go back and do them again for the money, but still.
Coming from Gen1 to GenWhateverThisOneIs, was a shock. So much shit to do. lost days at a time berry farming and even kept my 3DS at my side at all times to water the berries and after finishing the game and coming here to learn more about breeding and battling.. it got old fast. Like in random online battles someone is always using 6 shiny legendary pokemon. But trainer customization will always stand out to me.
Then taking away/not wanting to do trainer customization just set me off/turned me off again. I understand many of you enjoy hours of breeding to get the perfect 6IV pokemon, and then battling with them but all this RNG to actually play is kinda meh, having a little brown girl made everything much more tolerable.
