>>53739681>>aside from all legendaries which have the most dire need of them, other single stages and those with high evo costs and additional evolution tasksWhile I was pissed that I couldn't bump up my Pinsir candy XL numbers, It was still broadly beneficial for me. If Niantic isn't going to constantly run the candy XL bonus year-round or even season-round, events like this are the next best thing.
>>the event with absolutely dogshit default wild spawns was better than the one with common Bagon, Dratini, Ralts, Deino, Togetic and VibravaDon't care; Vibrava is dogshit compared to Haunter, Poliwhirl, etc., Dratini, Deino and Togetic got CDs, making them pointless spawns, and there was Bagon, which I only ever caught 3-4 per day (I caught a higher average of Beldum during Test Your Mettle).
Look, I would've rather beaten around the bush on this, but you've forced my hand:
The dragon event was shit. The only good thing about it, like most of these events, was the debut of a powerful mega evolution in raids. The only people that significantly benefit from it are sweaty tryhards that need 12 Hydreigon for raids or filthy casuals that don't even open up the game more than twice per month. Playing any more than that would've meant you wouldn't need Dratini, Togetic, Ralts, etc. spawns. Cope.
>>the event which granted an XL candy upon evolution (which you could only take advantage of if you had farmed a lot of first stages of decent mons at some point and somehow saw this bonus coming) which takes forever to play its sweet sweet animation>>better than an event with bonus candies and extra XL chance for being good at throwingIn theory, yes, the latter would've been, but Niantic does this event so rarely and it's only ever around for events where one or two good raidmons are spawning. When's the Tangela boosted candy XL event, Hanke? When's the Rhyhorn, Cranidos or Tyrunt boosted candy XL event, Hanke?
