She's more of a stage magician than anything else, but she's no slouch in a battle, being able to jump and kick like the best of them.
This does not translate well into a POKéMON battle, on the other hand, as it's really her Pokémon that often call the shots of things. While Ming has very few dreams of her own, aside from running a ridiculously huge restaurant chain, the thing that keeps her grounded in her journey is meeting new Pokémon friends, and uses her worldly knowledge to help other trainers befriend their own partners.
