>>53799696>>53799779>But I AM better than them, at least better than those stupid NPCs. Are you seriously saying a protagonist is on the same level as a mindless NPC? No. We're not the same. This is a dangerous level of dissociation. I am an only child, the TV was practically a third parent for me, and I loved cartoons the most. Yet these new meme terms (and I use them too) like NPC have a dangerous implication if you take them too seriously - blending fiction and reality. There is no "protagonist" in the real world. We are all the main characters of our own lives, as conscious beings and individuals. The way you've laid it out is a little bit disturbing, but I figure you're relatively young so the good news is you can always ground yourself in a more reasonable take. Don't get me wrong, the masses are dummies. I don't disagree with you, but I don't hold as much contempt for them as you. It's a poison, and it'll consume you. You should want to help them, pity them, not resent them, dismiss them.
>I've made my own choices. Those NPCs just followed the herd blindlessly. I agree, they lack or have diminished critical thinking skills. But that's an ability like anything else, as we discussed earlier. True, they, in large numbers, make our world worse by allowing very evil people to take over, but you should try your best to teach them. If/when they see the error of their ways, even they can learn. The nice thing about the clown world we find ourselves in is most normies are under at least financial if not emotional pressure. The second one big scandal falls and gets revealed to them, their worldview will break. It will be up to people like us to show them truth at that point.
