>>52951309used one in frlg and it was fun. you have to go get it as early as possible though to minimize grinding needed to put it on your team but I loved using it.
yes, 60bp moves are enough for it to put in work with its stats (in frlg at least)
>>52951336used it on my usum playthrough. I remember my team as a whole being strong but I don't remember if this guy was particularly great. definitely not bad though and a cool type, especially adding a dragon to your team that early is nice (iirc it's pretty early in both xy and usum)
>>52951512all Kanto starters are fun to use. you can do whatever you want with venusaur, HMs, support, power, anything. pretty easy to build teams around despite the fact that you rule out a lot of Kanto pokemon if you don't overlap types and pick bulbasaur.
Having status moves relatively early is nice
>>52951525only reason it's not my least favorite fire type to use in Kanto is because rapidash is, since I forego using rapidash for all the times I have to use it in sinnoh. I know flareon is probably worse in-game but I really like flareons design so I'm biased.
it's fine though. I just prefer almost every other fire type in kanto. maybe it's better to use in a different game.
>>52951646speaking of flareon.
im biased but it's fine. there's a lot of pokemon that you need to just teach nonstab moves in earlier games but it's definitely good and fine to use and can balance out a team well.
>>52951662never used it. my next planned playthrough is Omega Ruby and I haven't decided on a team yet. will probably use claydol since it's a psychic type I haven't used and have been wanting to but maybe I'll use chimecho just to see how it is.
>>52951708one of my favorite pokemon to use. I've traded myself horsea as a starter. admittedly I've only used it in games with kingdra but I have beat games with seadra and evolved it in postgame. can be really fun to use.
character limit but I've never used hypno despite using almost all gen 1 mons.
