They're extremely rare but there are bunch of Growlithe near Hau'oli but i must warn you the amount of money needed to raise them is gigantic and I'm not even talking about fire stones. I suggest you getting a Fletchling, they're small, easy to train and their evolved form will make sure to not let any strangers come close. Oh and if i remember correctly Fletchling like to nest near that huge volcano of yours, forgot its name

It pains me that Tyranitars are viewed as little more than big strong monsters you use to simply win battles, despite being Dark type their extremely gentle creatures and friends for life when raised properly.
Properly training a Mega Tyranitar really requires you to start from birth. Any earlier and you’ve locked yourself out of the bond, trust, and most importantly the memories needed for a Tyranitar to handle Mega Evolution. I trained mine from birth, and where I come from they’re sacred protectors, not beasts for battle.

>can feel it vibrating through the ground
Now, in case any of you aren't familiar with caves, deep vibrations like that wake up Pokémon sleeping in the dirt... which is never good.

I had to sit in the river until they all decided it wasn't worth it anymore.
I'm pretty sure one of them was Hasty, since it almost hopped in after me before realizing that I was in the water.

I've got a few more stories from that trip to Sinnoh. It was fun, of course, but that wasn't the last encounter I had that didn't end well.

A lot of these guys carry Zangoose, so what I've started doing is having my Seviper follow me around on routes where these guys hang out. Seviper can smell the Zangoose scent on these freaks and it makes them very angry, so I just let him attack them. They can't get their own pokemon out because of their stupid gloves, so they usually have to try and make a run for it. This is why I don't recommend pichu to most people. None of them understand when I tell them they need to exercise it often to keep its pouches from overloading.
Thankfully they evolve easily and I typically can convince people to soft adopt one, but not take it home until then since Pikachu tend to be better behaved unless you ignore them too much.

As a breeder this just infuriates me, cuz it's obvious this asshole believes in the IV system, which is basically outdated pseudoscience believing the strength of a pokemon is based purely on some bullshit measurements and determined at birth. If you're a breeder then I might need your help.
I have this egg, a weird guy dressed in blue and with a weird hat gave it to me while I was training with my Scizor and my Bisharp down in a cave.
He just said he decided to gave me the egg because of how well trained my pokémon are.
He then disappeared into nothing, completely ignoring my question, that pissed my bisharp off so much he was about to punch the guy.
Thing is, 3 months have passed now.
I have had eggs before and all of them take 3 weeks at most to hatch unless they are dragon eggs, but even in that case 3 months sounds unlikely.
What do I do now?
I searched for information online and I tried to talk with a bunch of people but nobody has ever seen anything like this.
Please help me.

Not that breeder, but I have some experience working at a pokemon sanctuary with my mother so I've held a few eggs. While a dragon egg sounds cool and all, it's possible it could be a Basculin or Alomomola egg as they, funnily enough, share an egg-hatching time with dragons. Try filling a bucket with water and dunking the egg in, the water pressure might be enough to get the egg moving.

Before you go, see if your dad can make it to where the Hydreigon gets auctioned off rather than sent to a battle facility. Buddy, I hate to break it to you, but you should probably learn how to handle at least one Dragon-type before doing ANYTHING with mega stones. Maybe try getting a Cottonee, they're pretty low-maintenance so you can focus more on training your dragons. They help you deal with any early-stage dragon-types and you don't have to worry about them accidentally turning into a Whimsicott because they're a stone evolution.

I thought shiny pokemon were only differently colored due to a genetic defect and that's the reason why they're so rare. Like, a pokemons color helps it camaflouge in it's natural environment and because shiny pokemon have drastically different colors, it prevents them from breeding as effectively because they keep getting caught out. I mean, I get that you want one for the rare factor but this thing is basically handicapped

Would make sense for wild Pokemon, though ones that are bred being more likely to pass that trait on also makes sense, since people literally spend months breeding for "shiny" Pokemon. Had a classmate at Goldenrod U that spent almost a year to breed a shiny Pichu. All that time wasted to get a Pichu that looks the color of Unovan "cheese". He also flunked out that same year.

Is it normal for gyarados to act cuddly? I have a Magikarp that my grandmother gave me, and he's been my buddy for almost a decade at this point. Earlier today, I tripped and accidentally broke the tank I had him in. He jumped back into the tank, which apparently counts for that old "Magikarp who jump up a waterfall turn into Gyarados" myth, because he evolved. I was able to recall him into his pokeball just before he started breaking furniture and stuff, but he doesn't act like a Gyarados. He's still just my goofy fish buddy, and still doesn't like fighting. Are most of the gyarados people use just poorly trained or something?

Maybe Gyarados have different temperaments depending on how they evolve? Most Pokemon evolve after gaining enough battle experience, and since Magicarp can only use the Tackle attack after already being well trained, most of that battle experience would come in the form of taking hits. Naturally, this would lead to quite a bit of frustration and maybe even anger, which seemingly becomes permanent upon evolution.
Climbing up a waterfall would be more of a sense of achievement and elation, which would make for a much happier and calmer Gyarados. Your Magicarp was way older than most wild Magicarp EVER get, either due to being eaten or evolving. It must have had enough 'life experience' that even the smallest achievement was enough to trigger evolution.
