>>33106810Create an item that suppresses the abilities of the holder with a few exceptions (just like Gastric Acid). The holder can also choose to throw the item, which if it hits a Pokemon, that Pokemon's abilities become supressed until the condition is somehow cured (such as by Heal Seed or Reviver Seed) or moves to a new floor.
I have thought of other items. In the maingame Pokemon series I thought of an item or ability that negates abilities and effects caused by Pokemon entering, such as Spikes, Sticky Web, Intimidate, Forewarn, or Anticipate, but not Pressure or Mold Breaker since those are constant. pic related
I thought of "TM" wands that act as a move in item form. When you use these wands, they cause the move it has to be executed, such as Thunderbolt, Heal Pulse, Light Screen, or Flamethrower. These are useful because:
>they essentially act as a fifth move. A Pokemon can use more of certain moves>Pokemon can use moves that they can't learnThey aren't perfect though:
>charges are not unlimited in stacking. If you collect a number of wands +1 greater than the PP of the actual move that said wand replicates, a new wand will be made instead as though the 99 limit was hit.>no STAB or move boosting ability stacking as the move doesn't actually come from the Pokemon, nor does it really count as a move>the wands are not as numerous or diverse in movepool as TMs. There might be 20 wand types at most, and even then I doubt it>they're not common and are not cheap
