I find it a little odd Grookey never evolved. Anyone else feel this way? Goh's other Gen 8 starters both fully evolved and underwent story arcs, but Grookey was introduced around the halfway point of JN and it didn't perform an actual attack (whacking things with its stick doesn't count, lol) until the PM climax. I kinda expected it to evolve during the final PM episodes, but that didn't happen. Never even reached its secondary evolutionary stage. Was Grookey just that popular in Japan, or something?
