>>54740898Seriously, the lack of Pokemon on PC was due to technical difficulties and they knew how to cover it up by giving it this wasteland lore and I applaud that. But they must have realized at some point that they couldn't tell a story about the Pokémon world without at least a couple of wild Pokémon, even if these weren't catchable and were only part of the background, it didn't cost them anything to give us a couple of cinematics about the Orre's scarce fauna or invent a rule like they did in Pokemon Rangers where catching is prohibited or Detective Pikachu where battles are prohibited, that way you can integrate wild Pokemon into the story without having to modify the mechanics of your spin-off.
