So, Pokemon as a whole is worth $90 billion, and never once has gamefreak released a single detail of development costs, but the most pricey number i found was an average for X and Y, which was about 10-20 million apparently
So, Dividing the 90 billion in four, but being generous and saying Game Freak and Creatures as a whole get the lesser end, which is 40, which then is 20% for Game Freak and Creatures, equalling to 18 billion for each
So, also reconsidering that now developing for the switch probably increased costs to the 100s now, being generous AGAIN, let's say it's about 500 million. Companies like E.A.seem to spent about 700+ million on advertising this year alone, which means it's probably gonna grow further to at least 800 million, and THAT'S reconsidering they make ads and trailers that look infinitely better than the products they actually shit out. We'll say somehow, short, less fucking rendered and smooth as a baby's ass models plus showing off gameplay everywhere costs 2 billion somehow. Now despite Nintendo already having over 30% of the franchise's earnings and a huge chunk of their stocks apparently too, let's say for whatever reason, they also charge their own division publishing rights and goods as well and be equally generous with the number there too, about 10 billion for all the costs involving all of that, with also reconsidering they don't give back any money what-so-ever.
Now for Town, which, even though also doesn't look too impressive, I'm certain costs more at the very least, and is probably under the 10 billion of Nintendo's publishing shit, since i doubt publishing pokemon sword and shield costs 10 billion, minimum cost would be probably double sword and shield, and extra 1 billion, which, I'm certain, is more than fucking generous.
That leaves Game Freak as a fucking whole with 4.5 BILLION FUCKING DOLLARS IF ANY OF THIS RINGS TRUE
