>>55346279For my job, I go to the office 3 days and work at home for 2.
On the office days, I drink 100-150ml (3.5 - 5.3oz) of vodka or gin before leaving for work. I don't eat breakfast, I can feel the effects of the booze but I'm still lucid. I need this to manage the people there for the first few hours, until my work friends come in. This only started becoming consistent once I bought my house and began living by myself, I feel like my parents half-knew I did it but they wouldn't hide booze from me or talk to me about it.
In the days I work from home, I slack hard. It seems like no one else does jack shit, so I take advantage when I can get away with it. I'll do anything from watching TV to playing switch/deck to playing my consoles facing away from my computer. I'll do about 25% of the work I do on an office day but claim more time from it because I finish later on the home days.
The kicker? I produce more work in those 3 boozy days I'm in the office than the others do in the whole week. Our project lead is always praising me, which gives me imposter syndrome, furthering the need for booze when I go.
