Speaking of, now that I seem to have my drive for writing back and am optimistic I'll soon be able to actually get a start on that partner romance anthology I discussed earlier, how does this sound for the (very basic) outline of the first story?
>MC (not necessarily a human or from the games or anything, but I have plans for that in a future story) makes their way through a tough dungeon fulfilling a request like they do every day, takes a lot of damage (but doesn't really care) because instead of their stronger gear they wear a really weak accessory because it was a gift from their partner>when they get back home after the job is done, their partner freaks out and is all fussy over them and overreacting to every little scrape even though MC swears they're fine, tries to cheer them up by showing them they were wearing the scarf they made as a gift but that just makes the partner feel guilty and start to cry>flashback scene to how they first met, MC was an explorer who rescued partner from a dungeon but got banged up really badly in the process, they've been together ever since and partner has always tried to do everything they can to look after MC in return for the kindness they first showed them>really sappy/fluffy ending with MC comforting partner and saying they don't care how banged up they get because there's nothing in the world more worth protecting than the most special person in the world to them or something like that (but worded even better)>they kiss and/or cuddle afterwards obviouslyStill undecided on the pairing, and on which one should be the boy/girl... I already have two planned that've been nailed down to being from the girl's perspective so maybe I'll make the MC in this one male to balance it out, nothing's final though.
