Always makes me cringe. Honestly, the best ROM hacks ares the ones that just let you complete the PokeDex.
Here's a tip for aspiring ROM hackers:
If you're going to add ANY of the things I mentioned, rip whatever designs, locations, and dialogue you can from other games in the series. Anything you create yourself will stick out like a sore thumb.
