Other species like Gardevoir and Lapras are intelligent enough to comprehend complex human speech and emotions, but they just don’t have the privilege of independence and incognito that the Zoroark species has.
With that said, I like to envision a story about a Zoroark and its children found it was marginally easier to live in human society than in the wild, but they also got to deal with uniquely human issues as a consequence of escaping the ones they faced in the wild. I also like to imagine the Zoroark in question is the father, and has grown a taste for suits that his illusion can “wear”, perhaps even fall in love with a human, but he also needs to know what he should do with his children since they can’t just sit around and play all day at home. Really, this could pass off as a side quest in a future game.
