> Attractiveness3/5
Despite her own extreme confidence in this area, Misty is a relatively plain girl who typically dresses in a very sporty and childish way. Her best feature are her long graceful legs, being a fair bit taller than most girls her age and a strong swimmer. Among Ash's female friends, she's possibly the one least familiar with makeup and self-care, but if you like cute girl-next-door types as well as rough and tumble outdoorsy types, Misty is tough to beat.
> Purpose4/5
Misty has a stated goal, albeit a vague one: She aims to become the foremost specialist in water pokemon. Since meeting Ash, Misty has essentially taken over managing Cerulean City's water type gym, and earned a reputation as a formidable Gym Leader. She recently set off on another journey, and is off to a great start, challenging and defeating a world class trainer and catching a new water pokemon.
> Interaction5/5
Misty's rapport with Ash is unique insomuch as he's not simply nice and encouraging toward her like he is with, well, practically everyone really. Instead they have a bickering sibling-like dynamic where they constantly challenge, tease, and bounce off of one another. This friction makes the times where one is genuinely concerned or encouraging toward the other feel a bit more special and less obligatory. Also holy cow do they make physical contact. Like, a lot
> Personality3/5
I like Misty. A lot. But I'm not gonna lie, the girl is bitchy. Not that she can't be sweet and caring, buuut boy can she NOT be if you catch my drift. For me this flaw is actually a big plus. But a flaw is a flaw, and Misty is far from being Little Miss Perfect like certain girls. Misty also has some contradictions: She considers herself tough and tomboyish, but she's also incredibly vain. She says she doesn't like Ash but gets mad when other girls flirt with him. She can also be condescending, envious, stubborn, has a violent temper... Maybe I should have scored this a 2?
