hell, finding *any* evolutions in the wild is just weird to me and i'd rather they not show up lol.
other opinions:
>pokemon design took a hard nosedive from gen 7 onwards and hasn't recovered; there've only been a few bright spots here and there like some of the Hisuian forms or like 5 Galar mon>pokemon remakes stopped being "needed" after gen 1 (and arguably 2), and should've stopped at 3 because the battling system has hardly changed from thereon out save for adding more bloat (shit ton more moves, shit ton more abilities, and gimmicks)>regional variants were a great idea done terribly, and most of the half-decent designs to come out of them are from alola (some of the best in that dex imo). the way they're being handled right now is just an excuse to shit out lazy recolors and pad dex slots that could've been given to new pokemon>any new forms of pokemon is honestly overkill, megas included (all regionals, all gimmicks- just keep pokemon as they are with new evolutionary branches or something, it'd be way more interesting)>third versions are infinitely better than DLC, but DLC is far better than 2 third versions>BW2 are overrated; they are by no means bad, but they're not the best in the series and they ruined a lot of what made Unova great (that being the lack of old pokemon, mostly new content, significant version differences between the base pair (aside from difference in legendary and other mon exclusives), a story written with more than a single brain cell being active in the writers' heads)>natures as stat-altering flavor text bad, natures as fuel for more headcanon that doesn't affect overall performance good>there is no point in transferring pokemon beyond gen 4 if you are not a competitive battler; gen 5 onwards doesn't give you enough to do to warrant transfer, save for MAYBE Pokémon Amie which gets boring after 5 minutes
