3. I want free-form exploration, not being railroaded or handholded that much. Kanto nailed it perfectly. After Misty, you can roam the region until the next absolute roadblock, 2 Snorlax blocking access to Fuchsia.
4. A good region where it's not decorative hallways after decorative hallways.
