while I could keep going, i'm really not in the mood anymore to rant about my problems. long story short, even if we work in the u.s., we've still been treated poorly over long distance communication and it doesn't seem like things will get better.
here's what i know from my department. several of us have been working on smaller, individual parts of the upcoming expansion pass, and some have started working on the second pack of the pass.
mega evolutions will return for those who keep asking on our social media page, more specifically twitter.
pokemon like charizard, lucario, ampharos and sableye will get mega forms, and i'm sure others will too.
following the release of the expansion pass, a new promoted raid will start, where you can find gigantamax versions of rillaboom, inteleon and cinderace.
aside from that, there will be a new spot added in the isle of armor simply called "The Merge." this can be used after completing the first story in the expansion, and this spot will allow any of your dynamax pokemon to get the gigantamax trait, assuming they actually had a form to begin with.
greninja got pokemon of the year through the google survey back in february. since that happened, greninja will be getting special treatment.
I believe most starters will return, but greninja will have a special add-on following pass 1 launch
it's called Battle Bond Extra, and it will retail for 5.99 USD (currently). in it, you will get a brief side story where you meet assh greninja through mustard.
i heard it was planned to be added so people could use him in competitive play.
japan will also get a seperate mystery gift event at some other time for a shiny ash greninja.
