>>53557061Dive down around Route 127/128 and you'll find an abandoned stole submarine (it should be familiar). Past there is the Seafloor Cavern where you can get the TM for Earthquake!
Come back up and understand this series of water routes and dive spots is MASSIVE. There is one bastion of hope out here: the white rocks of the surrounding perimeter of Sootopolis City on Route 126. Finding these rocks as a kid was like an utter miracle to me. I felt like I was lost out to see for days out here, because the routes extend all the way up to Route 131 before the next town! It was so easy for me to get lost. Dive down here and you'll notice plenty of seaweed where Relicanth and Clamperl reside. Relicanth has great attack, but catch one regardless if you plan on using it. Clamperl is a split evolution into Gorebyss and Huntail, and you'll need to dive for a scanner on that one abandoned ship from before in order to trade it with Stern in Slateport for a DeepSeaScale (Gorebyss) or DeepSeaTooth (Huntail) trade evolution item. They're actually not bad water Pokemon.
I know we're all yearning to see perhaps one of the coolest cities in Pokemon, but I find it best to resurface here and detour down some more routes south of 128 first, for completionist sake at least.
Routes 129-131 lead up to Pacifidlog Town (but grab a Wailmer with your Super Rod at level 39+ before totally progressing) and I think the picture says it all. This place is really cool. The slogan is "Where the morning sun smiles upon the waters." That's funny, last I checked this game didn't have a day/night cycle. You can get the TM for Return here if one of your Pokemon meets the friendship requirement. The Mirage Island guy who sees Mirage Island out on Route 130 1/65,535 times (each time being dependent on a specific Pokemon in your party, so multiply that number by 6) where you can (likely never) get a Liechi Berry and catch some wild Wynaut. Out west actually leads us back to Slateport.
