>>51691891It does have some interesting worldbuilding, but I feel it wallows a tad too much in the edgy side. Like having a parent from pallet town be derelict/negilgent to their kid, obviously not ash or garys parents, could easily have been a good story moment to work with.

>>51694113Yeah, the darker aspects in episodes can be fine, but they need to be handled with care as you risk going from grimdark to grimdork. Its like salt, a bit is fine your meal, too much and you ruin the dish.
