>>51011326>I didn't say that it did, I even brought up how you the MC aren't native to the island either, but it does show that negative change does happen and the results of it.Yes, change exists. You have said this multiple times already. The trainer moving in from Kanto has nil effect on the actual plot, and, once again, the narrative is far more concerned with Alola's nature and how that's coming into threat, not explicitly on how that state changes. Change is about as involved in the narrative as it is in any other JRPG plot (or most other plots in general for that matter, regardless of medium). The very act of preventing/reverting change does not make it a central theme of a plot.
>That's literally the same with every main Pokemon game, every single one.So?
>The point of SM was to be different and actively sold itself as being different.And... it was different? Even within the League itself there was variance from the formula, the Title Defense explicitly stems from the idea that the League is a new concept and people are newly motivated and vying for the position of Champion. There being a League doesn't hurt Sun and Moon's break from the formula in other aspects, especially since there's a break from the formula within it.
>You giving reasons for why the game justfies it doesn't change anything, you can give any reason you want for the game trying to explain itself for its decision that doesn't make it a good one.Once again, I'm explaining how the game flies in direct contrast to your argument, and you're doing nothing but saying the game's wrong and t's contradicting this theme it totally has, instead of just admitting you based it off of nothing but your own headcanon that the game doesn't agree with.
I'm done replying honestly, I'm bored of this argument and we're not going anywhere anyways. Have fun with your delusions, I guess.
