Living interactive enchanted terrain. Using rock tomb will cover field with rocks that helps smaller pokemon to evade. Rain covers field with water that will freeze if you use ice moves making ice terrain. Big pokemons could break ice and make it rugged ice terrain. Fire pokemon can melt the whole thing. Grass pokemon could just leave its roots to ground to slow down enemies. Basically just put everuthing cool from pokemon manga into the game.
