>>54521207I'd love to hear your team sperging anon! I had fun trying to analyse their teams and character reasons for using mostly the same Pokemon, so my thoughts were:
>If Ingo's team is assumed to all be his, then Emmet's exclusive pokemon are all either immune to Earthquake, which Ingo uses (Archeops, Eelektross) or neutral (Durant)>According to pokemas they're rivals, and Emmet seems to be the more competitive one>Emmet's pokemon being ground-immune doesn't only make him a good partner, but gives him an advantage if he were to fight Ingo>As for why Emmet uses Ingo's pokemon, if they share pokemon then he'll be more familiar with them, which also helps in planning strategies against them>Also, by doing Multi Battles together they learn more about each other's strategies and how to play against the other>Emmet probably has that slight younger twin bro inferiority complex going onAs for Ingo's PLA team, that mystified me a bit at first other than Probopass/Magnezone = Klinklang and possibly Gliscor/ground type = Excadrill, but Machamp is both probably an unironic Jojo reference and a trade evolution thing at the same time, which applies to Alakazam too. In BW2, they have Gurdurr and Boldore, which are trade evolution mons, and pokemas gave them Escavalier and Accelgor, which they outright mention they traded to each other.
Gliscor's expression being like Emmet is another theory I subscribe to
